Cat repellent spray

The swisspet deterrent spray for cats helps to break the habit of undesirable behavior such as damaging objects. The agent works through an unpleasant odor for cats, which keeps them away from the surfaces and objects that have been sprayed with this agent. Over time, your pet will associate the areas with the unpleasant odor and automatically avoid that area, so you no longer need to spray that area again.

The remedy contains citronellal and geraniol . Citronellal is obtained from the citrus plant and is often used in fragrances because of its citrus taste. Geraniol is a so-called monoterpene alcohol and is mostly known as a component of essential oils. It is a colorless to yellowish liquid with a pleasant odor. The liquid is mostly used as a fragrance in the perfume industry, as an active ingredient to repel insects and occasionally for aromatherapy applications. This scent smells too strong for the sensitive nose of cats, which is why they keep their distance from the scent center.

These two substances are purely plant-based active ingredients , which is why there is no reason to fear any allergies or reactions. Another advantage of this remedy is that it can also keep pests such as ticks or mosquitoes away . However, it is not 100% insect repellent and should not be applied directly to the animal's skin.

Instructions for use: Shake well before use. The areas to be treated should be cleaned of urine and feces. Spray the area from a distance of approx. 30cm. Do not spray delicate objects and plants directly, instead spray a rag and hang in place.
In case of heavy soiling and warm weather, repeat the process 1-2 times a day.
Check material compatibility in an inconspicuous area.
