In nature, the cat's diet consists of various small prey (mice, birds, fish), which are primarily sources of protein and fat. (In addition there are crude fibers and other nutrients contained in the digestive tract of the prey). For an optimally balanced cat diet, 'Almo Nature' recommends offering all types of meat and fish, as well as wet and dry food, in alternation. (60% wet food and 40% dry food, single, supplementary and complete feed). Humidity plays an important role in the cat's daily diet to promote hydration and help reduce the risk of urinary tract diseases.
