Our small animal stables and enclosures are treated with a non-toxic glaze and are therefore optimally protected against weathering. To maintain this protection, we recommend painting the wood with a non-toxic wood stain or paint (water-based, suitable for outdoor use) every 1-3 years.
You should regularly check the interior of the barn for signs of browsing and repair the affected areas if necessary so that your animals continue to be well protected and safe in the barn. So you and your little darlings can enjoy the house for a long time.
